This series is phenomenal - like my favorite character series ever. As new books are released, my reviews will be available here.
This is an ongoing series and more books will be released over 2023.
Also big fan of Sara Cate over here.
* One thing to note - I have received two ARC's (Advanced Reader Copies) from this series. However, my reviews are completely my own. :)

Now, I'll start with this, this book will not be for everyone. It's one of the more taboo books and includes a step-sibling relationship. If that's not your cup of tea, that is a-okay, go ahead and move to something a little bit tamer. However, if it is your cup of tea, boy oh boy are you in for a treat. Mia and Garett do not biologically share any DNA, and when their parents' married, Garrett was in his late teens/early twenties and Mia was in her early teens. They didn't grow up with each other and they never really treated each other like siblings (if that helps easy your taboo worries).
"Mia has always been mine. Even if it wasn’t always like this, it was always meant to come to this."
This book was a treat from beginning to end. I thought the first book had a unique storyline, but I was so wrong, this book, has one of the most unique storylines I've ever read. It was never boring and always had me guessing what would happen next.
"having Mia in my arms like this fills every crack and crevice inside me. There are no shadows or anxiety or fears. It’s just peaceful, quiet comfort."
Mia is a badass and I just love her so much. She's strong and knows what she wants. I loved being able to watch their relationship grow because even before the spice, their chemistry was on another level.
Ugh, I love this series so, so, so, so much already.

Alright, I’ll start off by saying this, but stay with me: I’m a ho for Emerson and Garrett. I truly loved the first two books in this series and the storyline of the first two books. In my brain, nothing can top the first book because Emerson is my favorite and the introduction to Sara Cate's world of the Salacious club is unlike anything else.
I can’t say that this book absolutely blew me out of the water. Maybe it was the storyline, maybe it was that my heart will forever stay with the first book in the series and nothing can compare. For some reason I felt myself hoping for just a little something more. (Which this has to absolutely be a "me" problem because this is a MMF romance, and asking for more of anything seems like a crime.) Honestly, I have no other way to describe it. However, the spice in this book is another level, crazy, incredible, holy shit kind of spice.
Now, that blew me out of the water x10,000. The spice is unique, crazy, and absolutely otherworldly SPICY. The kitchen scene?! The studio scene?! I was deceased. Honestly, I think this book was in the top 5 spiciest books I've ever read.
Okay, so for the storyline. We were introduced to Izzy, Hunter, and Drake a few times in the first two books. Izzy and Hunter have been together forever and Drake is the best friend who is always around. Like always. The three of them embark on a road trip to visit other clubs for ideas, tips, and anything that will help grow their club. I really loved where Cate went with this storyline - sending them on a road trip, the three of them stuck in a small car? Yes, please.
Throughout the trip, they're stuck in situations that makes them all question the friendship. It starts with Hunter believing his newest kink is watching his wife embark on *ehem* scandalous activities with his best friend. From there, lines are crossed, questions are asked, and the three of them must figure out if it's just a kink or if it's just a "road-trip only" kind of experience.
It was an adventure to read from the perspective of each of them, since all of them are thinking different things about the experience, have different traumas and pasts. I loved Izzy's sensitive, knowing spirit. I loved Drake's kind-natured heart. I loved Hunter's desire to continuously try to be a better man. The three of them together created magic (of course once they finally got together).
Throughout the book, I love how Cate is able to show how truly passionate these people are about not only their club, but the friend group. Seeing both Mia and Charlie brought into meetings was fun to see.
Hold on for dear life because this book is an absolute wild ride.

Time to walk into my therapist's office and start the next session with, "So there's this book series about these sex club owners and it destroyed my life."
There may or may not have been tears as I finished this one. Wow. Sara Cate has an incredible way of redeeming unredeemable characters. Book 1 Beau was annoying, overreactive, bitter, and childish. Book 4 Beau was learning, growing, seeking to be a better person, book boyfriend swoon-worthy material. He did a complete 180 all because of Maggie. Now, let's talk about Maggie MY GIRL. I loved reading about a strong, independent, business woman who found her voice even more through her and Beau's relationship. She was the type of woman and has the confidence of someone I strive to be.
Together they healed each other, brought the best out of one another and I wanted it to last forever. The spice was on another level, too. There was no miscommunication and no third act breakup. And just everything I could have ever dreamed of as the book to wrap up this series.
Emerson and Charlie made me ugh so many times in this book, and I loved them in the first one, but I have a feeling that was intentional in order to see them from Beau's point of view.
I have never found a series quite like this one and will recommend it forever. I loved following each of these characters. Every single book was so uniquely written and done so incredibly well. I'll miss waiting for this series to see what comes next. What do you say Sara Cate?! JUST ONE MORE BOOK. PLEASE.
